Let me introduce myself. My name is Elizaveta Chalenko.

I was born in Moscow on the May 21st  in 1993.

In 2010 I graduated from European gymnasium.

The same year I was accepted to King’s College of London, University of London on the Film Studies course, which I am currently graduating from this year.

Nowadays nobody can seem to be original, saying, that loves cinema since childhood. But I think, my sincere and huge admiration of this particular art is something more. I’ll try to explain why. Despite the fact that Cinematography hardly summs up a century of its history, its popularity and influence nowadays is very high. In my opinion this phenomenon takes place because in some ways cinema is capable not only to attract modern society, but also to make it think about the burning issues raised in the films. And this is not the only reason why cinematography plays very important role in the world of arts. Cinema is a carrier of history, casket of moral wisdom and mirror of fashion. There are many examples of that it was a source of revival of the whole nation. For example, the United States in 20^th century have towered thanks to Hollywood. Germans were terrified, when they saw from the screen their evil deeds during an epoch of the Second World War. Exactly cinema helped the nation to repent in their crimes. I would like to participate in working out of the theory of a vision on the basis of studying, the analysis and generalization of history of cinema. It would be interesting for me to search for new ways of creation images of new generation. And when I find one, I would like to participate in creation of a new cinema as the film producer. It seems to me that England is the country where it is possible to create the cinema combining success and independence. Great Britain has made really powerful contribution to the history of the movies. It has produced some of the great world-famous figures of cinema—great directors like Michael Powell, Alfred Hitchcock, David Lean and great talented actors like Lawrence Olivier, Charles Laughton, Vivien Leigh, Alec Guiness, Peter O’Toole, and Vanessa Redgrave. I have a huge desire to work in this sphere. And I hope to make my own influential contribution to it.
